Hello at all,
I've got an unbranded Xperia J smartphone, bought it just a month ago. While everyone seems to receive the update, even German customers with Telekom-branded devices, I'm still not receiving the update. While the official website is saying since 2013-03-07 that the update is available whether my Sony PC Companion 2.1, Sony Update Service nor the Java Applet on the website is offering me the update. Always telling me "You're on the most up-to-date version", which, of course, isn't true. I'm still on 4.0.4. I'm very disappointed.
Can someone explain what exactly is the matter? Why is it not possible to roll the update out to everyone? Why do I have to wait that much long without any reasonable background? I'm very disappointed right now.
I'm also waiting for this... Thought I would get it some days after it started being rolled out, but 3 weeks seems a bit long to me, hope I can get it soon.
I'm also from germany and have an unbranded phone.
I've got the same problem 😕 I live in India.

But I'm Thinking To Flash (manually update) It To 4.1.2 -

Now I have updated it manually via Flashtool because it was no more acceptable for me to wait any longer than until 2013-03-31. Very disappointing Sony, but nonetheless 4.1 itself is very smooth on my Xperia J and that is all I wanted to get.
For any other affected people out there, just get Flashtool and the FTF file for 4.1.2 (search xda-developer forums for that) and you're all set.

Thanks for the link, but as you may noticed from my last post I've already managed to install it manually
