Start up problem with xperia - j

Dear members,

                    I bought my phone in November 2012, and  I recently face unexpected problem while switching-on my phone. Soon after pushing the power button - "SONY'' would flash on the screen, there after screen would hang, showing the "XPERIA" logo.   Phone would not turn to nomal screen then. the phone would become heated up if kept in this way for longer duration.

Please help with suggestions !!!

Please try running an update/repair as a first step:

To repair the phone software
1.     Install PC Companion on a Windows PC from Support
2.     Turn on the phone, and connect it to the PC using a USB cable.
3.     In PC Companion, under Support Zone and click Start.
4.     Under Phone Software Update, click Start.
5.     Click repair phone.
6.     Follow the on-screen instructions.

helloe Sam, i already update my software to JB via WIFI after 1 week power on and hung up occurs...til now it doesn't power on...the worst is..the phone doesn't seem to charge...
