Note that even if your phone shows as active, stamina mode is still saving battery by cutting conenctions. There might be an app updating or something at times which could trick you. As far as I know, there are no problems with stamina mode. It's software!
Good luck.
Yeah but sometthing has happened. Before my screentime and the phones "sleep mode" was the top battery drainers. Now since the phone is shown as active constantly the android system is the top drainer by far. The phone is mostly in my pocket all day with some random surf.
Remeber that it's estimated time and depends on your usage. It could last way more and vice versa.
Some nights ago I went to sleep with 21% battery. All tasks cleared, stamina mode on. 6 hours later I woke up when the thone vibrated and shut itself off. 21% in 6 hours without touching the phone a single time!
I got the advice from Sony to try the fail safe mode. There is no 3rd party apps present in this mode. As it did before, the phone went to sleep correctly the first couple of hours after the restart, but once again android system starts to keep the phone active constantly. No luck there.
The last resort is to repair the phones software with Sony PC Companion. I did this yesterday and as of now, it seem to have done the trick. I'll need to install all my apps again and see if the problem shows itself again.
Everything has worked well since I repaired my phone's software. After a few days I installed the app "podcast addict" again and my problem is now back, the phone never goes to sleep. I thought the app itself was the problem so I contacted the developer. He says there is a system issue on some ROMs that kicks in as soon as you press something like a headset button(which I do to pause playback). It is known as "handleMediaEvent-bug".
I really hope this will get solved.
