I gues you know the poor battery life that has our XPS, why don't you include in the .211 update the famous stamina mode??. By the other side, Why we haven't received the others features that are common in a SONY Xperia device, like SuperAuto, Cibershot, HDR, White balance (our screen is hungry of battery and yelow...), Bravia Engine 2, etc, ,...Holy ..... how many things, I just want Stamina Mode.. One year ago I thought that I have bought the best cellphone that could give me fun for even 2 years, now I am going to literally give away this black brick for nothing...
I think this might explain it

“We do plan to make sure that we have a clearly defined line up so what is a premium smartphone, what is mid-line and, in some territories where it is required, what really is an entry-level. [We] want to make sure whether it is features, whether it is design, whether it is connectivity that the consumers really understand what level they are getting in to as they pick and choose between different models that we have.”
Basically we will never extract the full capabilities of our phones (or at least some decent part of their potential)
I already got used to it.
When would rooting come in handy, eh?
And custom ROMs?
Both these options allow us take full advantage of the capabilities of our phones.
