Stamina mode gone

After i updated my xperia z3+ with 6.0 Marshmallow, the power management is gone. I don't have STAMINA mode anymore and that was one of the biggest reasons i bought the xperia a couple of days ago.. Is there any way to get it back?

The way it works is, when your phone is idle and not on charge, Android will limit the background activity of applications that are being optimised. So for example, if you receive an email while your phone is idle, you may not receive the notification for that email until you next wake your phone.

I figured it out: If you select the Battery Optimisation setting, it does limit the background activity by 'optimising' every single app in the phone. However, you can go and change the settings in the app itself to give you a notification even when the phone is idle. It's a bit of a schlep, I know, but it's worth it. My phone's battery lasts longer and I still keep up-to-date with everything. I hope this helps.

Since I updated my Xperia 3 D6603 my Stamina has been completely replace with Battery usage.No sign of Stamina. Will it return also in days or weeks time?

Welcome to the community.

Stamina Mode was replaced by Doze in 6.0, which is built in to the core operating system of Android. As it performed a similiar function to Stamina Mode, it was not included in this update.

Due to popular demand however, a form of Stamina Mode will be added to a future firmware update.

I cannot find the stamina mode only battery saver for my z3 dual

I just notice that after latest Android update, my Xperia z3 has no option for stamina mode anymore... And also the batterij saving mode is gone.... Is this supposed to be like that??

Yes, but the rumor is that it will be re-implemented

As of right now it has Doze

Settings > battery > menu
