Having calling issues and low signals. Hangs up a few secs after calling.

Model: Xperia Z3 (DD6603)
Bought it online from the Sony Web Store a year ago.

Thought Sony phones were great. Until owning one I saw it wasn't that awesome. I did tons and tons of research about the Xperia z3 prior to buying it compared to other high end phones In the US.

First, to clarify I've checked with my cell phone provider (t-mobile) and they had no problems with the signal or anything on their side. So they told me to contact Sony support. So I did. I had to send my phone 2 TIMES and they gave me the wrong serial number that was linked to my phone. It took more than 3 weeks to get it sent back so I just didn't want to go through the hassle since the customer support doesn't know what they're doing. I tried researching online but in the US the DD603 isn't that popular. And t-mobile recently stopped promoting(?) discontinued the D6616. So it's even less popular.

I tried looking at data settings, apn, I have no idea what's with the low 0-1 bar LTE signal I get and it keeps changing to H+ too. It's so frustrating to call.. Using z3 makes it almost impossible to call someone

have you tried cross referencing your device with the signals used by your provider?

these are the bands supported by your device: LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 13(700), 17(700), 20(800) - D6603

do they match with your network providers bands?
