STAMINA mode dead?

Ok... I have to sai I'm starting go get mad about this phone, but here we go (another issue).

I have a BR branded Sony Xperia ZL (C6503) Build 10.1.A.1.350 with Android 4.1.2 - update not available yet.

Yesterday I went to sleep with 96% battery. ~6 hours later, in STAMINA mode, battery has died.

Now, I have just turned on and find out that this darn functionality is not working and THIS freaks me out. I mean... in BR, this cost me ~1k USD and it keeps giving me headaches.

As you can see in the image below, all options are ON and it happens that nothing changes.

Anyone has a clue?

You said it's a brand new phone. How long? 1 day? 3days? Cuz it makes a different.

When a new phone (or Android) starts the first time, it does alot of backgroud activity to index, profile & calibrate the phone. This process works in the backgroud and will take a few hours to complete.

My suggestion, is to update to the latest software and used it for a few days without restarting the phone in between. This will ensure optimum battery calibration. After that, the phone should work normally.

As I said "I have a BR branded Sony Xperia ZL (C6503) Build 10.1.A.1.350 with Android 4.1.2 - update not available yet." I can't update without losing warranty. Also, it's a one month new phone.

It was working until yesterday.

Btw, I'm a heavy user. But there's *no changes* swtiching ON/OFF.

Is nothing with yours mobile phone. Not need to worry. I had the same problem. For example i had 20% battery and was showing 10 hours in power managment with stamina on or off. My solution for that is do reset settings or repair software by SUS or Pc companion Slightly_smiling_Face
