Hi everyone, I'm writing here as I didn't find anything satisfing on italian forums if not something like "take your phone to assistance". I apologize in advance for my English and hope to be clear enough. About 10 days ago both my husband and I bought a Sony Xperia SP. I started using it 3 days ago, he did only yesterday coz not enough time to set it up before. We used same settings for both and we just downloaded a couple of apps. We installed all suggested updates. Yesterday sounds of hubby's phone (after a day only he used it) stopped working all of a sudden. Ring tones, notifies, games sounds, music and all internet audio contents, all silent, nothing had sound on loud speakers. But strangely everything works correctly with earphones on. What could be the problem? Can I solve it without giving phone to assistance shop for a couple of months (knowing timings here sadly)?
Thanks to all who can help
Ucef you are literally my hero! My phone has been repaired 2 times for this issue, now it appeared a third time and your solution worked perfectly! Thank you for making my day, month en every other minute that I wil use my Xperia SP!
I also have that problem.
I can hear the ringtone, very low, but I can't hear music in speaker.
I also can't hear nothing in earphone.
I will try the method with jack......
The problem occurs after I send the phone in service for other problem and when I received the phone back, no sounds.
(my phone is not in the warranty time).
hello
i would like to help with solution to the same problem that occurs just now.
my sony xperia sp suddenly** lost sound in video, walkman, youtube and can't hear ear call*(idk what to say this)
but when i try to change ringtones it's just workwell
so i know i dont have hardware problem* (speaker output)
i try play walkman
plug in earphone
unplug earphone
after 2 times it works!
now my speaker output function properly as it once.
so the conclusion perhaps that "my phone somehow stuck in earphone mode without the eaphone plugged in"
and this maybe, just maybe, **happen after i plug my phone to my car stereo.
This problem has also occured a couple of times and plugging/unplugging headphones fixed it until now, and I'm really annoyed that I can't even use my cell phone for phonig.......annoying right? Any other advices?
