Sound automatically reduced down?

When I listened music through earphone or speaker, Z1 mini would play a "do" sound suddenly and then the music volume would be reduced down automatically at times. I have to increase the volume manually. But after some time (not a fixed period), it would reduce down again. Then again and again... So annoying...
And the strange "do" sound would suddenly emerge every some seconds or minutes, even I have set the mute mode.
Anybody suffered this problem?

Mine drops occasionally. I noticed that usually when I hit the home... Is on my list of flaws!

Do you have any notifications appear when this happens?

I do not get any notifications. I might have dissabled it. Can you please point out where to reset it.

Maybe is the noise level warning.

Thanks,

T

There is a noise level warning but you can't disable that notification that I am aware of. Do you have NFC turned on and keep the phone in a case etc with any cards that may have an NFC chip?

I keep the phone is a thin plastic back case. I do not keep togther with any other things, NFC or otherwise. The NFC is off all the time, so is the Bluetooth.

And I do not get any notification even when I turn it up to the maximum (which is not that loud)

I do have the music on the go enabled

I have noticed the following behaviour: listening to music on headphones / phone call / phone call ends / massive drop in sound volume and quality - volume up won't restore the volume. If I stop the Walkman app or unplugged - replug the headphones the sound is restored

Have you tried clearing the Smartconnect app: Main Menu > Settings > Apps > Smartconnect > Clear Data?

I will try. Thank you Sam.

However is have upgraded (finally available for my unit) to 4.4.4 and so far the issue seems gone...

The volume warning message is an EU requirement, it skates used to pop up once per day on average, and reduce my volume, but you get a big pop up warming about that
