I was traveling cross border last month for 3 days with my xperia LT28h (Android 4.04, Build number 6.1.E.3.7). Before crossing the border, I have uncheck both "Data enabled" and "Data roaming" under "Mobile networks". During the whole trip, I was using GPS and offline map.
The phone bill arrived today. There are a few dozens of roaming data in the size of 1kb to 6kb scattered through the 3 days.
Does anybody have the same experience? And how to really stop the data trainsfer?
Did you send or receive and MMS' during this period of time?

No, I did not send or receive an MMS.
During the period, I only use the phone to take photos and GPS with pre-loaded offline map.
