Hi to all...
I'm having a problem with my Xperia ZL, i bought it with a company "Personal Argentina", after a year i requested the unlock code, now i entered the unlock code and the phone apparently was unlocked.
But, when i insert a sim card of another company it did't get service from the other carrier...
in the Service menu, *#*#7378423#*#*, in the simlock section, it figures as unlocked NETWORK [ ] ....
If i insert a sim card of Personal Argentina it works, but with other companys no. Could you help? there ir another place where i have to unlock the phone?
Thanks in advance

Hi fgampel,
Welcome to the community,
When you put the SIM from another company in the phone, does it ask you to input a network unlock code when you start it up?
Or does it simply load and have no reception?
Hi, uliwooly, i've already entered the unlock code that the provider of the phone gave to me. And the celphone accepted it.... now in service Menu there is no SimLock.... Network []
Hi Jake, thanks for your answer.
No, it simply load all okay but have no reception of that carrier (of any carrier that is not the original carrier)...
at first time i powered on the phone asked to me for network unlock code, then i input the code that the original carrier gave to me and the cellphone accepted it. Now if you go to service menu there is no simlock present, but anyway the cell have no reception of any other carrier...
could you help me?
thanks in advance
Hi Alexdon, thanks for your answer, but that isn't my problem.
i've already unlocked the phone with de network unlock code that gave me the precius carrier and the cellphone accepted it, actually there is no SimLock present in service menu.
Anyway the phone doesn't get signal of another carriers.
That's quite odd, are you using a new SIM card or an old SIM card? is it possible that you can borrow other SIM cards?
That is definitely strange, it is possible that the network carrier you are trying to use may not cater to the frequency bands available through the device, but that would not likely be the case.
I agree with @uliwooly can you please try an alternative SIM, maybe one not related to the network you want to use?
Hi Uliwooly, yes there is a new SIM card, i already tried with a new one and with another 3 olders of another companies, and doesn't work.
Thanks anyway
