sony z1 microfone issues

Hey guys I'm having an issue wit phone calls I can hear the person but dey can't hear me it's muffled I've done hard reset nd all dat.wen I run da diagnosis test for mircofone wen it records I can hear it bk?I'm just wondering is it a software issue or hardware or is der something more wrong wit my phone?? Tanks plz help!

Stay in safe mode for a while,see how it is.

But I can't use viber or any of my other apps it doesn't suit me!!! Has dis bn an issue since da last update?

I have Z1 but no problems on 4.4.4 with the microphone.

I was talking to someone in carphone warehouse nd da fella said it cud b some board dats gone wrong?

It could be a hardware problem but I suggest you to stop by a sony service and have the device checked.
