Sony z1 compact camera freeze

When i am taking a photo the camera just freezes. When i lock my phone and unlock it the photo seems not to be saved.

Skhurana: if these issues are resolved by constantly rebooting your phone and losing precious pictures, how is that resolving anything?? The camera still freezes again and again and reboots and lost pictures are never ending so perhaps you should rethink your comment and perhaps provide useful information so we are not constantly running into this issue. I, for one, and very unhappy with the Z... I can watch the battery drain as I write this, the phone gets insanely hot, and the camera keeps freezing. None of these issues happened with the experia arc that i had before.

As for me this is my first SONY phone and definitely the last one. BTW my camera died, I removed the pictures to another folder, reset the settings, rebooted and  - it was still dead. Then in about 5 hours it got back to its original state and since that it works OK. I get notification about the idiotic extra features on the camera but NOT the camera SW itself. Wake up SONY - this should be one of your best phones - and it is the biggest SW disaster so far.

This is my final message on current topic. So starting from first update from Android 4 to Lollipop there is NO cam freeze problem on my Z1Compact any more. So it was soft problem (in my case). Thanks to all guys in Google/Sony for solving this issue.
