Sony Xperia Z1 updated Kitkat Release details

Dear Sony,

We all know (including sony) knows that Kitkat 4.4.2 has few bugs in Xperia Z1, The main annoying one is sound comes from earpiece at random situations.

I expected a updated Android release on 07/04/2014, But I did not see it yet. I am from india. 

Any of you got it? 

Sony, can you please provide some more details about the updated release??

Sony usually release bug fixes soon, I never expected these issues from the Xperia Z1 flag ship phone but bugs can be from Android main stream. So no worry, we will get an update but dont know the exact details.

Yep... I contacted sony n they informed the new firmware will be releases at the end of thia week ot next week.

The update is now rolling out. Here's the news article confirming this...

It's only available in a few select regions at the minute but should be rolling out fully over the next few days.
