Hi,

I took some photos in the pool yesterday and 30 minutes later my phone suddenly shutted down. I tried to turn him on but he buzzes 4 times. First 1 time and 3 seconds later 3 times.

How can i fix this? Please help me!

Hi

That's really sad news.

Check this thread http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-Z1-Compact/Z1-Compact-won-t-turn-on/m-p/1000903#M16419

After you do as given in the thread linked above, put your phone on charging for 3-4 hours continuously and then try to force restart it by following this method.

Press and hold the "Power" button and "Volume Up" button at the same time for
5 Seconds > Forced Restart ( One Vibration )
10 Seconds > Forced Shutdown ( Three Vibration)

Hi

I'm assuming you've followed the suggestions given in the linked thread above.

Did you put your phone on charging ?

If not, then put it for one day and observe if the screen turns on or anything happens.

After the phone has been charged enough and you get no response, then software repair your phone to see if it helps. But you know it, this problem is most likely related to hardware but still let's leave no stone unturned.

Perform a backup of everything as all the data on your phone (except SD card's) would be lost

Update / Repair your phone's software via PC Companion.
Download PC Companion and install it. Do not connect the phone to your computer unless you're asked to do so.

Launch PC Companion > Start Support Zone > Start Phone/ Tablet Software update > Select
"Repair my Phone/ Tablet" > Follow the on-screen instructions it shows.

I had this problem last year when I took the phone into the pool for some photos. I ended up sending it back to Sony for repair.

Check that none of the white water indicator tabs under any of the flaps have turned red. If they are red this will indicate water has entered via that flap and will invalidate your warranty.

If all the tabs are white this should not be an issue with returning for repair under warranty Slightly_smiling_Face
