SONY XPERIA U TOUCH SCREEN PROBLEM

My 3 weeks old sony xperia u has started to lag a bit

and the touch screen has lost responsiveness!!

typing is very difficult now

please help!!

today my xperia U is 1 year old, yesterday this problem begun, it is awful to text. Back to Motorola, the last one took 6 years with me, it was a warrior cell phone which became ashes in my hand but until this it was working!

My qwerty keypad has suddenly become very slow and the touchscreen overall has become very slow too. Help! I've switched it on and off again and even taken the battery out in case it was that, but nothing has fixed it. It's very frustrating

Repair via sony update service,a fresh install could help:

Yes,unfortunately.You can backup some of your stuff using pc companion.
