Sony Xperia U Charging Problem

people when i switch off my phone and connect it to charge it shows the green LED light which confirms charge above 90%,all this in a matter of 2 minutes!

after that the phone shows a tremendous battery drain!!

however when i'm charging the phone while it's on i don't observe any issues

moderators help!!!!!

This could be related to software, I would first suggest you perform a software repair using PC Companion.

PC Companion:

Note this will remove data from the handsets memory, but will not touch a SIM card or memory stick.

i have updated and repaired my phone yet the problem persists
