Sony xperia sp flickering

Hi! I've just brought a sony xperia sp and I noticed that sometime the screen is flickering. Has anyone got the same issue? is there something wrong with my phone?

I suggest that you try to run a software reinstall using SUS.

If the problem still remains you should contact your local support team, to have the phone examined and fixed at an repair center.

I noticed this too.  Turning off automatic screen brightness (which doesn't do much anyway) sorted the problem

Having the same problem. I have my phone now 12 days and  I already performed 4 factory resets and the problem still hasn't gone. It occured about every 1,5 to 2 hours.

I checked the automatic screen brightness and as I thought I already set this off. So the solution provided by gadgetman doesn't seem to do the trick for me.

From time to time i'm experiencing also no possibility to do multitasking.

When using the original app 'Walkman' the music stops whenever I go to the homepage.

I too have this problem. disabling auto brightness feature solves the issue. waiting for a fix from Sony.

I've started to experience this issue of my screen flickering like there'. A glitch on the phone pls let me know if this is hardware or software problem.

I have had this same problem.
I got my phone back in July, on the second day my screen started to flicker. I took it back in, and they gave me a new one. Same thing happened, and I took it back in, they offered me a new one and I told them I wanted it to be sent away and fixed.
When it came back, the same thing happened, got it sent back again and the same thing occurred only took more than the second day to start flickering.

I have also since had the walkman crash while trying to do other things on the phone.
I was told after the second time that they never found anything wrong either times (sounded like the company implied I was making it up, like I wanted to keep sending my phone back to them and not having it for 1-2weeks..).
I didn't bother sending it back a third time but this problem frustrates me.
Someone find a fix please!!!!
