Sony Xperia P software update problem (!)

Hey there all,

I've bought myself a new Sony Xperia P phone 2 days ago.

Ever since than, I'm trying to upgrade the software from android 2.3.7. to android 4.0.

The problem is : the cellphone thinks that it has the latest software already but this is clearly not the case as the android number is 2.3.7.

I can't get my phone to upgrade to 4.0!

If someone could help me I'd really really appreciate it.

hi guys! please i need help!!!

about 3 hours ago i started upgrading xperia p to android 4.0.

it took xperia only few minutes to finish with download-process, but when it came

to the finish line of instal-process, till now, nothing happened! he's still at the end, but no move!

can anyone please tell me what to do?

you mean the phone installed all the files,but now the screen is frozen?

Yeah, thats what I was trying to say. Thanks for your response. Everything is good now. The screen was frozen almost whole night, but I've managed with instalization, so its ok! Have a nice day.
