SONY Xperia P - problems with touchscreen.

Hello.

My name is Jacek and i'm from Poland. First of all sorry for my english Slightly_smiling_Face

So....

I had purchased Sony Xperia P on 6th march 2013. After two days i started to have problems with the touchscreen.

After unlock with the button on the right side of my Xperia, touchscreen did not react/respond.

This fault was very disturbing.

I tried to fix it by PC Companion, but it doesn't works. After 6 days i gave my phone to repair.

After five days local Sony Service Centre gave my my phone with the note, that they installed new software (the same software as i had before i gave my phone to repair) and that the specification of my Xperia is consistent wit Sony guidelines.

Today is third day i recive my phone from Sony Service. My Xperia still doesn't work. Touchscreen don't respond i cannot do anything with my phone. It is very, very annoying. I will add, that after repair i cannot restore my settings and data with PC Companion.

What should i do? I paid the many for Xperia that does't work.

Thanks for any help.

Well, I'd say you should contact your local Xperia Support as the customer laws vary from country to country, to see what possibilities you have.

Look at my 3 videos. My Xperia doesn't work.

I gave my Sony to local service centre and they do nothing. They only install the same software once again. Xperia still doesn't works.

It is very, very annoying.

Hello,

I have similar issue. Sometimes I experience lockscreen that comes only with basic icons (clock, baterry indicator etc.) - wallpaper is missing (screen is black), program icons are gone, message notifications are not there... when I try to unlock the device it freezes. Then I have to reset the phone.

What i meant was contacting the local Xperia Support, not the service center. Have you contacted the support?
