Sony Xperia P camera problem (8mp)

Hello, everybody! :smileyhappy:Recently I bought the Xperia P ( and I think it is quite awesome) and have updated the Android OS to 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and my build number is 6.1.1.B.1.54 . I have however a certain bug with the camera. When I take a photo with the 6MP option on everything is OK (even perfect, the quality of the pictures are really satisfying ) and this is the result. However, when I turn the 8MP option on and flash also on, the image gets really dark, practically imposible to see and it seems like the synchronisation between the flash and the capture is off (it flashes first, then it takes the picture) and this is the result .DSC_0010.jpg

It is imposible that I did something to it, so I want to ask : Is this a common problem  or I should bring the device to a service ? If it is common is there a solution to the problem and if not are there plans for a solution patch ?

Any information would be really apreciated

Thank you in advance

Hi, we all are facing the same problem. It has led to many discussions in this forum. Lets wait for the update that's gonna release by March end(JB). Hope this will be fixed by that update. And yea, this is a common problem for all 4.0.4 Xperia users. :smileyinfo:

that's why I didn't yet Update my Xperia P on 6.1.1.b.1.54 even on the the newly .72 one, seems they say it's not yet even fix, so i've decided to update when JB is out for Xperia P.

the lates update on xperia P didn't solve the camera issue. but some says it did, for their Xperia P.
