Sony Xperia E Date validation problem

I have bought one Sony Xperia E.  I have downloaded the apps of HDFC securities online trade. However the  login for the apps require my dateof birth which is 18/06/1972. I have tried but the mobile is not allowing beyond 1980. I am unable to use the online mobile trade facility. Please held and advice

If you go into the Time and Date section of settings, does it allow you to scroll through older dates than this? If so it is more likely and issue with the app itself as opposed to the phone in which case I would advise contacting the developer.

I have the same problem. I try many ways to fix this. but still have the problem. I have a sound problem also. After updating my android software while I make voip call the other party cannot hear my Voice. I reinstalled my phone several times but this problem continues. I lost my trust about the SONY.
