Sony Xperia camera issue

For a while now, I have been experiencing an issue with the camera on my Sony Xperia Z. 

There is always a weird, horizontal distortion on all my photos.

I have tried cleaning the lens and there appeared to be nothing unusual with the phone prior to this appearing. 

In the above photo, it is easy to see this line I'm talking about. 

Anyone have any ideas?

Is this appears in any resolutions???

Try setting>apps>all>camera clear cache and data then force stop it and reboot your phone

Thanks for your advice, however I tried what you suggested and it didn't solve my problem.

And yes, it appears in all resolutions.

Well..can you try another camera app??if problem still persist then you must visit sony center

I tried another app and still the same problem. I might have to take it to a Sony store.

I was hestitant to do this, because last time I had a problem with my phone, I had to pay to get a new one, event hough I had insurance to cover damage.

Why you pay  anything?? Is your phone under guarantee??
