Try the SD card in another phone or in an adapter.

possibly the same thing that happened to a few of us here

can't say I am holding out any hope of a reply from sony and I refuse to pay for another sd card only for my phone to kill it and sony to shrug and say "we have no idea why SD cards are being bricked by our update"

Ok thanks for replying. I tryed the card in my daughters phone samsung andriod it didnt like it but I bought a micro sd card reader and the card works fine in fact I'm listening to music on the computer from it now! Why wont phones see it?

btw I have also now started getting restarts due to the phone not seeing the sim card , any ideas?

Having returned the card to my phone (after finishing listening to music) phone is now accepting the card. Now when I put the card in the pc there was no chdsk or anything which is what I was expecting, all a bit strange realy but there you go. I will post back if it starts again...

Checkdisk? Sure you don't mean the "indexing of the card"?
What type and brand is the card?
When it reboots does it give 1 vibrate before the message is shown?
That was in my case and gave the message
SIM/USIM removed and then restarted. Without sim no reboots happened. Called for a replacement card and runs without any reboots for about 12hrs now

if you are on win7 when you connect your SD card it will ask to perform checkdisk

also on xp or 7 you can right click on SD drive>propertis>tools

If any windows gives you the chkdsk option after connecting then it has detected corrupted data after indexing.
Default is indexing and then autoplay should pop. But I'll stop as this is someone else's topic.
