sony xperia c motherboard issue

Dear Team,

Yesterday my phone suddently hang and swithoff.I have visit service centre but service centre guy told me that is device has liquid damanged,He show sone red strip indicator and told that it is not under warrenty.But my question is that how devices acts as liquid dameged.I am using cover and polithin for my device to protect from such issue.

Now they are saying that you need to pay for motherboard.Which is having high cost.

My device is in warrenty.Could some expert help me

Unfortunately water damages can cause numerous different errors in the phone, it's impossible to say how these issues present themselves.

Then what is the solution for the same.Motherboard price is very expensive?

Same problem face by me to and service center people are ready to fight but not ready to provide proper answer, If the phone is not liquid or physical damage then how warranty will void's it simply indicates they don't want to repair under warranty, Talking all rabbish but not proper answer

exactly same thing happened with my xperia c last week and same answers given by sony service centre. during update it turned off and necer turned on again then how water can effect my phone. these guys are making fool to customers and i suggest all NEVER GO FOR ANY SONY PRODUCT, VERY BAD SERVICE AND CHEATERS
