I have a Sony Vivaz Pro which is about a year old.
The phone was not switching ON so i gave it for service at the Wisma Atria Sony Centre, Singapore.
JOB NO - SG4-11-13286-001
Few days back i got a call saying that the phone cannot be repaired.
I have been a loyal customer of Sony from more than 10 years and i am very disappointed to know that such cheap quality phones are being manufactured by Sony Ericsson.
It is indeed a disgrace that phones die in a year and cant even be repaired.
I dint expect this from a company like Sony.
I've passed your information onto the appropriate people in our Singapore offices to contact you and make sure everyone is understanding the situation 100%. Please let me know if you don't hear from anyone in the week few days.

Thanks for your immediate response.
I just got a call from a sony representative.
I explained everything to her.
But she said she cannot do anything about it.
What was more disappointing was the fact that she did not even seem to be bothered.
She had a "So what can i do about it ?" attitude.
I am really very disappointed with the whole thing.
I'm sorry to hear that. Were you advised why the handset was unable to be repaired?
The phone was repaired by Sony Ericsson free of cost.

I have been trying to log on to the forums to keep everyone updated but can never seem to get logged in correctly, despite the need for 10 new password resets from S/E.
My customer case number is 91409848
In the reply email with this number we were advised that S/E would be in touch soon. Well as another shining example and to back up everything I have said about S/E not being interested no one has contacted us what so ever.
So can some one contact me from S/E and help me sort this mess out.
I have been advised that the phone has a faulty processor, with the added comment cheaper to just go and get a new phone elsewhere.
Doesn't help my case, A totally in dead phone, and on going contract with no phone.
I am glad this has been sorted out.

Mine has not been sorted out.
I have been left totally isolated, no follow ups no emailno telephone calls nothing.
Maybe S/E should try and contact me to help sort this out.
