Sony Pc Companion - wifi connection

Since the Android ICS update we lost the function of connecting Xperia Ray to the computer using WIFI connection.

Is this function coming back any time soon?

Just to clarify are you talking about using the handset as a Wifi Hotspot if so, I suggest you go to the following location within the handset,

Menu > Settings > More > Tethering & Portable Hotspot > Portable Hotspot.

No. I'm talking about connecting the phone to the computer so I can have access to its files from the computer.

When I run Sony Pc companion, and click how to connect, I have three options: USB cable, Wifi connection, Bluetooth connection . If I click wifi connection, I get some instructions for pairing my phone with my computer, I follow those instructions but in the end I get the message that this  connection type is not available for my phone and I should use the usb cable.

Wifi connection used to work fine before the ICS update.
