sony music Jive app not upgrading after reset

I reset my phone by erasing data via google account after that everything is working fine except the sony music jive app. Whenever I touch the app it prompts me to upgrade but when I touch the upgrade button the update window appears and after sometime disappears without actually updating the app. Everything was working perfect before the reset.

WHAT I'VE TRIED:

1) Erasing data, cache etc.

2) tried installing the the .apk file from the xda forum

3) repaired via pc companion

I have a sony xperia E1 Dual with Android Kitkat 4.4.2

please help me !!

Problem Solved

I just changed my Sim card, (another provider) and hurrah the app updated like a rocket after that when I put the old sim card (in which the update was not working) and tried to update the app , it worked. Don't know what the problem was but I think the link was down or may be the network was creating trouble.
