had above phone 2 days.phone was in a foreign language,czech i think,solved that problem correct time+date

but when trying to access whatsapp states time+date incorrect(could phone be recognizing original language) ??????

selected a default ringtone,but phone is still using other ringtone when i get a call.?????

i downloaded a ringtone how do i set this as default ringtone ?????

tried turning phone off+taken the battery out,bit wary of factory reset in case it returns to czech again

Make sure you update the Whatsapp application to the latest via Google Play.

To set downloaded ringtone as default ringtone: Go to settings > sound > ringtone > press the note in the upper right corner.

If you don't have the note in the upper right corner, go to settings > apps > the tab all > media storage > clear defaults. Then go to select ringtone again. Select to pick ringtone with "sound picker" if you get an option.
