Sony Ericsson Elm - white screen and battery does not charge

Hi All,

I need help with my Elm. It does not work when I try to start it, only 3 times blink (white screen) and then nothing. I just read here on forum that I should try to flash by PC Companion but then I need 50% of battery at least. But my battery is discharged and after connection to battery charger it does not charge.

What now?

Try removing and replacing the battery and see if that helps. Otherwise, will the phone charge via USB cable on the PC? Failing that as well, try re-installing the software using PC companion or the update service, as long as the phone has some charge left on it.

Another option is to charge the battery in another phone if possible.

Hi Dr. Chris, the phone does not charge even by USB. I just find one friend with Elm, so I am going to try charge the battery by his mobile and then I will try reinstall the software.

Unfortunately you will need to take it to a repair centre.
