Sony Customer Service is the worst i have ever experienced

It is safe to say that i will never be buying and sony product and have proceeded to sell what every i have sony branded (PS4).

I got my Sony Xperia XA Ultra in August, 13 days later the vibrate function stopped working, i was asked to used the sony repair app to try and fix the problem. That left my phone permanently turned of, it will not come on. So i was asked to send it in.

I sent it in in mid august, it is now October. I have no phone or any idea when i will be get it back. all i get is different information that does not match what the last person told me and being told to call back next. Next week comes and they tell me to call back.

Timeline of what i have been told:

1. Phone is in the process of being repaired

2. We are waiting on parts

3. Parts have arrived and phone is being fixed.

4. we cannot fix the phone and will send you a new phone.

5. we dont have the phone in stock and well get phone at specified date.

6. Phone is in the process of being repair (wth??)

7. phone shipment has arrived but we will have to process them first.

8. Your phone is being repair

9.We are waiting on parts to repair the phone 

10. phone will be shipped at the end of the week.

Today i call and now they are telling me they are waiting on parts again.

This is my RMA#: 83016383614

if any rep is even bothered to look.

This is the worst customer service ever. i have done every thing to get back my phone or money. I have called, spoken to supervisors, chatted, tweeted. nothing.

I guess next step is to contact BBB or FTC.

Save your money and never buy Sony in the USA

The same here in Thailand. Many people complain about this here also. But not all people face the same bad service. It depends on which spare parts are broken some spare parts may not take that much time.

But in ur case if i were u i may b so angry and crazy cos why the reasons of delay keep changing everytime. Gosh this is why soon Sony may b out of phone market i think.

1 go to tore with 4 faults. Man in store says we prefer you a new one and you can pick it up.
2 phone call from store manager, you have to phone Sony instead
3 man on phone says there are 9 limes one left call back tomorrow between 9-5
4 phone then and now repair not replacement
5 cannot do this though Sony store must be posted at some cost to me
6 complaint logged
7 new phone being despatched
8 delivery company fail to deliver to my neighbour 4 days
9 lime phone arrived back damaged as the broke my outsides and put in new insides
10 
11 Sony will investigate and get back to you in 3-5 days
12 We can offer new phone in NOT lime
13 first we need the broken one back

Been a nightmare and now I get an ugly phone cos no one kept a lime one for me
