Softwareupdate fails

Hi, I have a Sony Experia S and the newest software update fails.

I get the message, updating phone failed, try again.

Then it makes me disconnect my usb cable , switch the phone off etc. and reconnect and pushing

the volumebutton at the same time.

After a few minutes I get the message that it failed again.

So I skipped it for now, but my phone can't be turned on now.

What can I do?

Can you confirm if you are using PC Companion or the Update Service?

I have just performed the latest software update on my Experia S. The software on the pc says the download failed. The phone will not turn on. It just says SONY, then turns off again and again non stop.

I tried holding the VOL up and power for 8 sec. Same result. Tried waiting for the 3 vibes, same result. What do I do now. The phone wont connect to PC companion and will not restart?
