software update

My eXPERIA SP insists its up to date with Android4.1.2 (build 12.0.A.2.254)

Phone is not locked to any provider though I am using aT-Mobile pay monthly SIM

I keep seeing that Jelly bean has rolled out etc - yet I never see this update - HELP?

Sony says its the provider at fault, Tmobile says its Sonys fault - groan, round and around I go....

I suggest that you download and install PC Companion to your PC. Connect your phone via USB-cable and check if PC Companion says that you have the latest version:

If PC Companion says that you have the latest version, could you send me your IMEI-number in a personal message and I can look closer into it.

Trust me, you don't want to update. 4.1 is the best version for SP for now.

I don't know guys what is wrong with some devices which runs 4.3

I also updated to 4.3...indeed free RAM about 200 MB BUT there is no LAG when opening apps

I have c5302 unbranded

only bravia engine 2 is nt working in currnt .201 build. we really need a bug fix software wid other performance enhancements too..

My phone updated two days ago and now it's really not working properly, It's really slow and keeps freezing, and then just went blank and I had to reset it from the back, also it doesn't unlock when I press the side button. How can I stop these problems.

You cannot. We all have the same problem. It's the **bleep**ty 4.3 jellybean that is causing it. Try to disable some apps like all is related to fb and chrome and google (except google play). Use dolphin as browser or opera instead of chrome and login to fb from there if u really need to. I had the same problem with the side button, do a clean install with SUS, restart the phone, disable the apps we talked about. Best of luck make sure you do a backup on your phone.
