Soft brick

Hi! I recently rooted my phone and got stuck in a boot loop for some reason: I tried everything possible, flashtool and pc companion didn't work and unlocking the bootloader didn't help... the phone doesn't even show the charge icon anymore, it just turns on and stays in boot loop! Is it possible to receive some help for this problem? Thank you very much.

@ZeroJoe

It seems that you have tried everything, does your phone has both SIM and SD cards ? maybe remove them, you can't use PCC anymore as you unlocked the bootloader

Thanks for your reply, but PCC didn't work even before the bootloader unlock, it just didn't recognize the phone and said phone not supported before starting the repair. Also, I have already removed sim and sd before any repair attempt.

I dunno if this means anything to you, but this is as far as I could go with Flashtool:

06/056/2015 17:56:00 - INFO  - Loader : S1_Root_2f8b - Version : MT6582_15 / Boot version : S1_Boot_MT6582_TC9SP_11 / Bootloader status : ROOTED
06/056/2015 17:56:00 - INFO  - Transfer buffer size : 262144
06/056/2015 17:56:01 - INFO  - You must have the according fsc script to flash this device.
06/056/2015 17:56:01 - INFO  - Flashing finished.
06/056/2015 17:56:01 - INFO  - Please unplug and start your phone
06/056/2015 17:56:01 - INFO  - For flashtool, Unknown Sources and Debugging must be checked in phone settings

It's weird because I'm sure I've already installed all the necessary drivers..

It's an issue with the fsc scripts that the newest flashtool uses. Uninstall it and download the older version (0.9.19.0), that one works fine. You can also download the required region firmware for your phonedirectly through xperifirm which is included with flashtool.

@xperiaperson

Thank you for you response, but that's exactly the version I'm using. On the latest I get IO Exception error.

And one more thing, the device is recognized as somc flash device on device manager, dunno if it's relevant.

Yea, that's how it's supposed to be recognized. As for why it doesn't work I can't tell. Try clean uninstalling and download firmware again through xperifirm, let it unpack automatically, do everything through flashtool.
Maybe you really bricked your phone somehow when rooting or unlocking bootloader, the flash section of the phone, although that shouldn't happen if you did it officially. If flashtool doesn't help then I don't know, probably a hardware issue or damaged core file system.
