Hi, did you mean 'could' or 'could not'? Anyway, I assume 'could not' .... Suggest you try with different Network mode. Settings>Wireless & networks>Mobile networks>Network Mode
You are more then likely using WCDMA settings, change it to GSM only in the area provided above by Gwhispererz.
