SmartBand Repair

Hi,

I want to repair my smartband. To do that, I chose "Repair your device", "select device", "add device", and I have to type "your device name" and "IMEI (Device ID)".

"To view the IMEI number of your device, open the dialpad in the Phone application and enter *#06#* or check the User guide."

My question is, how do I open the Phone application on SmartBand? (I didn't even know there is one).

  1. Turn off your SmartBand.
  2. Press and hold down the power key until the notification light starts flashing.

This will perform a hard reset of your device and take it back to factory settings

And after that it will display the IMEI number on the wall or something...?

I don't think there is an IMEI number but maybe best to check with Xperia care http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/ - The info I posted was from the Smartband user guide

Hello,

I need to repair mine as well. I've called twice and they sent me useless links. The first link was only information on how to update the software of the smartband -which there is none on the website, actually it doesn't exist!!- ; and the second time they sent me a link on how to send it to repair, and it was useless too because the website doesn't recognise the smartband because it hasn't an IMEI number or ID... so it seems it was a waste of time and a HORRIBLE customer service to deal with. So.... I've wasted my money on this useless gadget.
