Why in the world can I not find a setting to track distance in km??????? This seems like a very basic thing. Do people even use yards to describe distance these days????? Sony, PLEASE join the rest of the world and allow me to use the metric system. Or if the function exists please tell me how to switch to it! I don't even know what a yard IS without googling it!

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

I do have my distance in LifeLog shown in KM and M. If you open LifeLog > menu button > settings > profile and change your height and weight to cm and kg and you should get your distance in km and m instead of yards.

Can the Smartband track distance in km? I cannot find this in the settings and it baffles me that Sony would want me to revert to the imperial system of measurement.

Wow.... that is a bit of a round about way to change the setting. Perhaps this should be a setting in itself?

Also, if anyone from Sony should bother caring - I spoke with a Sony customer care rep online the other day. I think his name was Antonio. He told me this was not possible and that he was very busy chatting with another customer regarding a hearing aid. I have NEVER received such poor customer support in the past.

Perhaps, but I guess if you use kg and cm instead of lbs and feet you also want km/m instead of yards.
