small app widget problem

hi all, everytime when i try to add small app from widget, it will come up a message "unfortunately, small app Widgets has stopped"

Is there anyway I can fix the problem? Please advice..

Have you tried to clear data for "Small App Widget"? If not, go to Settings > Apps > The tab "All" > Small App Widget > Clear data.
Restart your unit and see if the problem persist.

I tried it before, but  the problem is still here.. Is there other suggestion that for me to fix the problem??

In this circumstance I would have to advise running a repair:

1. Download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
and install it on your PC.
2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
3. Phone Software Update.
4. Start.
5. Repair Phone
6. Continue
7. Accept data removal
8. Next
9. Wait for prepare
10. Select Phone
11. Follow the connection steps

Thank you very much sam. i will try it tonight

But i just wondering if i follow what you suggest is that going to delete everything in my Z1 (include photo, contact, app and all data)?? Do i need to back up my z1 before??

Yes and no, it does delete data however I would advise clicking on the Backup & Restore option in PC Companion and following the prompts to backup your content first to prevent this loss.

Hi there again,

After I use the PC companion to repair my z1, the small app widget got fix for a while, however after I re-install all the apparently, the small app widget problem happen again.

Can u tell me is there anyway I can completely fix the problem?

Same problem here with Xperia Z1!!!

Tried to clear data and cache but it doesn't fix...

Do you have a solution without reset the phone??
