Since last Update Screen Rotation does not work

Today i downloaded the update to Android 5.1.1 and now the automatic screen rotation on my xperia z3 does not work, in both, the "normal" and the safety mode. In my settings the automatic screen rotation is activated. Has anyone an idea, what the reason could be and how i can fix it?

Thank you! Just because it's not very clear for me and I'm a bit stupid of this things...... So if I gonna do the rebbots when the phone is in safe mode I'm not gonna lose anything yeah?
And how long it's take do you think?and how to do it?
Sorry about this stupid questions but I have no clue about this things. Until yesterday my phone worked good but not with this new lollipop isn't.thanks

You may need to perform a software repair using PC Companion. The process will erase all internal memory. You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 80% battery.

Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).

Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

I think I'm not able to do it. I dont wanna make it worst. I'm sorry but I'm confused...... Until the new update my phone worked perfectly. Now isn't and this is not my fault I think this update didn't say anything like that. So now I have to do something with my phone what I have no clue. You can write down like that but it's still not clear for me. I'm a phone user not that fixer type. Or take it to the service and pay for something what is not my fault.

I am sorry, you can backup some of your data (contacts, messages etc) using PC companion:

Or you could stop by a sony service.
