SIM1 slot can't recognize some nano sim cards.

Hello,

I got Sony M5 dual. My two native nano sim cards doesnt work in sim1 slot. Both cards are ok in sim2 slot and in other devices like apple. I started to think that slot 1 have problems, but then I put another carrier's sim in slot 1 and ohmg its working normal.

My phone is not locked to any carrier, I bought it via dealer. What should i do then? I tried to reset data via menu and even restore phone via companion but no effect. Problem the same.

Does sim1 slot have some electric requirements/limitation to sim card and not all nano sim cards are the same?

Looking forward to find any solution...thanks in advance!

You might want to get brand new SIM cards, you could also repair the phone with PCC but I don't think that will solve anything

sim card which is not working in slot 1 is working in slot 2 ? if yes then please keep it in slot 2 and insert other working sim in slot1

 i know it is not good soultion but temp. it will fix .

also purchase new sim of same carrier which is not working in slot1 and try to check with slot1

if problem persisit then go to your local SC with sim which is not identifed in slot1

P.S. : Also check network mode on sim1 .. keep it on 2G mode and check.

Yesterday I purchased sony m5.first I removed CE paper from sim slot.then put my nano sim in slot 1 but it didn't worked then in sim 2 it worked. Then I tried to remove my sim but it stuck. But using paper pin I could remove sim rack. But later issue arised that my sim not working at slot 1. Same sim working at slot 2.please guide me. With even Warranty I can't claim this issue.

I had purchased new siny m5 mobile good. But recently I face problem in sim 1 slot not workes in aome new sim card network. But bsnl and aircel new sim card working in sim 1 slot. But some new 4g sim not work sim 1 slot shows in ni option in sim1 slot and insert sim card data ms come.but in this sim work in sim 2 slote.
Pls give permanent solution to all net work sim card to works in sim 1 slot
