Hi all, i've this problem: after upgrade to ics random my Ray tell me: "Sim removed: reboot".
Then i reboot and the phone work correctly.
I've already tried this step:
1 - do a factory reset.
2 - format the sd card and do a pc companion "repair software".
3 - Do a "repair software" with Seus.
Nothing works for now, i'm in advice that this problem come up when i use 3g, yesterday i keeped the connection in umts and the problem doesn't come up.
Then i change it in 3g and the problem come up again.
The Ray is Italian (i think), the sim is coopvoce (an virtual operator tha works on TIM line).
The problem come up when i update to ICS, with Gingerbread and the latest firmware of Gingerbread the phone works great and i haven't problem (sometimes don't connect to data but with a switch to airplane mode all works again) so i think isn't a problem of the sim.
Already send an email to support waiting for reply.
What can i do for this problem?
I hope someone can help me.
Sorry for my bad english and tx for answers...
Hi, did you try removing and reinserting SIM card?
sure, 2 times, trying to clean the contact to...
my friend in an another italian forum had the same problem with his vodafone sim, before the upgrade all works perfect...
It seems that you have done almost everything, only thing left is the SIM card. Are you able to test with another SIM card?
i can try with the one of my wife, but she haven't data enabled...
I can try to put mine in his telephone, but the problem doesn't came up ever but random...
My friend tell in the other forum that he have the same problem with another SE phone, solved with an software upgrade...
As mentioned earlier, you have done almost everything, strongly suggest testing with another SIM card.
ok, but if in the other one i haven't a data plane active...
I can try to give my phone at my wife with his sim and take his telephone with my sim.
But i don't understand because before the upgrade with gingerbread i haven't this problem...
