Sim not detected

Hi ,

The sim I want to use is not being detected in my Xperia Tipo.I initially thought it was the sim's problem and got a duplicate one issued.Even that hasnt solved the problem.

The issue is it detects only one sim now, is there a chance i triggered some setting which allows the use of only one sim in the phone??

it doesn't detect any other SIM card even if the other SIM card are brand new?

It seems only one sim card works on my Tipo..

That's rather odd, is or was your phone locked to a specific carrier/network ?

Well I havent done so intentionally ..,is there a way to check the same?

Checked.. Under SIM Lock...Locked status is null.., 
Resetting to factory settings..lets see

And to think of all the trouble I went through to get a duplicate SIM
