SI number listed, but cannot upgrade to ICS

My SI number (1257-5177) is listed but my phone as well as the Sony PC companion says that the software is up to date. Any suggestions on how to upgrade?

Relax, Softway. The phone's working and I have no complaints with GB (2.3.7)! Anyhow, I think the update will be there in a few days' time, failing which we can always try to update manually.

i dont have any problem with GB either. i can wait not a problem at all with that. but the way the support team behaving here makes me very angry. how can they think they will comeup with a nonsence post and every person will belive on that.

buddy, everyone have limit to their paitence. its the sony team who should have some minimum resprect for their customers. they shouldnt lie to their customers to this level

Look at the bright side. At least they have a forum for SONY users. At least they have released the code for further Android development for Xperia S. At least they reply!! My friend bought a HTC, it hung up on him, they took the phone back and no reply since...!!!

I understand how it feels as a customer. Yes Sony is somewhat at fault, but as a customer shouldnt you at least have some respect to the workers of Sony? You are frustrated at Sony not its workers. They are just working like any other human beings out there.

You think with your kind of attitude will change a single thing? other than putting them down for no reasons. Its like yelling at a waitress for serving a customer with a bad dish when the waitress is not even the one who made it.

seriously all these nonsense bashing on innocent workers is going over the line. They cant give you answers unless the higher ups gives them the authority to. Understand how the world works.
