Show SMS-number or turn off translation of SMS-number to person in contact list?
Hi,
How can I show SMS-number of incoming SMS, or turn off the translation of SMS-number to contact name?
Reason is that I want to see the number so that I can create a new contact describing who the SMS are from.
Currently the phone picks a contact which probabaly "maps" some part of the SMS-number, but it's impossible to see which SMS-number.
So I tried to delete the contact (which I fortunately did not need), but then the phone chose another person in the contact list, and I still can't see the SMS-number.
And, I can't go on deleteing people in contact list until I (perhaps eventually) get to see the SMS-number.
(There is no reply option to these SMS's, only erase message.)
Any help appreciated, thanks.

Are you using the default SMS application that comes installed with your device? It will never show you a name unless it is the exact same as the one saved in your contacts.

You can click on the icon "insert/edit image" when you post a reply from your browser, not that it will take up to a couple of hours for the pictures to appear in forums after an admin approves them.
Or you can upload them to a cloud drive like Google Drive or Dropbox and post the link here.

It's on the same row of post formatting, as bold, italic, underline, etc
