Should I update my xperia u to ics?

I've read a lot of negative reviews about the ics on xperia u and want to know whether is it a good option to update my xperia u to ics or not. Your answers would really help

Xperia U is no match to Iphone

(Iphone S.ucks a lot at least for me) See the price first there is something called category in phones.

• no UI customisation
• Forced to use iTunes
• Forced to use the App Store (no sideloading)

• A killswitch which can deny you access to your phone/services at any time
• A faulty maps application
• Purple haze on photos
• Shattering glass backs (Nexus 4 has this too, don't get me wrong)

Whilst I don't really want to wade into the middle of an arguement, I thought I would offer my personal opinon of upgrading.

I found the upgrade less than smooth. If you are keen to upgrade to ICS then I would recommend using SUS rather than PC companion. And be preprepared to do a couple of factory resets after the install.

My version of ICS is now running smoothly and problems are few and far between, however I would say that if you are happy with GB then don't rush to update. However if there is an app that solely works on ICS and/or your phone is straight out the box then sure go for it.

I better suggest to flash a custom rom with out unlocking ur bootloader

I rooted n tried jb experience v2.1 works great

Just follow the rooting n flashing instructions
