Settings lag, typing lag, unlock lag

After the 4.4 update, typing has gone laggy. This can especially be seen while swipe typing and just even typing here (on my experia z).
The scrolling in settings also lag.
When I unlock my phone, a black screen appears for a split second before my background appears. (from lock screen to background).

Try restarting your phone or switch off your phone and give some time and then restart it. For settings lag, try the above method by 'force gpu rendering'

After restarting my z a few days ago, it's working perfectly. No lag. Much better battery life.

I turned off my phone for 4+ hours today, made no difference, still shows black screen in between lock and home screen, and typing still lags a lot 😕

How to go developer mode in settings?

First,you have to enable it.Go to settings-about phone-tap several times on build number.

I am having setting lag and huge battery drain even in idle state(Model C6603 Build No. 10.5.A.0.230). The latest play services update did not resolve this problem, While same playservices don't effect my galaxy s3. Lagging in setting is horrible. I have tried all above mentioned methods. Please fix this buggy Update or give us an option to degrade back to 4.3.

I am having exactly the same issues with the keyboard lag and the black screen after unlocking phone. I guess those too are flaws in the latest 4.4.4 kitkat update ending in. 283. I just hope that there would be a fix because the xperia experience has never been sooooo bad at least to me. Xperia ZL C6502 running kitkat 4.4.4 10.5.1.A.0.283.
