Services Exchanges drain battery

Hello,

I have an xperia SP for a couple of days now, and it looks like that the Services Exchange is draining the battery fast.

it uses upto 35% ot it.

Is it normal?

Exchange services doesn't allow me to have stamina mode running;

Does anyone has the same trouble? Any idea

Thanks

J

which apps do you have syncing? if you need to keep your data on at all time, using stamina its not going to make a lot of difference

e-mail, calendar, and contact are sync.

i have tried to put the sync. on manual but the effect is not good on the battery.

Is there a way to have the Exchange Service not running all the time? I mean is it possible to use it just the time required by the sync. and then have it stop?

I've seen similar issues with other users with the preloaded email app, my suggestion will be to try a different email app and see if you get the same issue, also can you elaborate on "on manual but the effect is not good on the battery"?

Do you name for email app?

I have setup the sync on manual (so the sync. is done only when i decide to) in the properties of the account.

the result is that the service is still drainning the battery. it looks like is still working on the background ... So the stats show 34% of battery usage "come" from the "Exchange services"
