server down.need codes to unlock.

hi,

   i have been trying for nearly 8 weeks to get the unlock codes for my mini pro to get other sim cards in it,i now live in another country most the time and really need local sim.the company i am using says they cannot get it done because the server is down at sony !! i find that hard to believe for such a long time.can anybody tell me how else i may get this done and if indead the server is down.thanks

           its refreshing to talk to someone who is telling me the true story, thanks.

i have contacted my network supplier and because ime not the original buyer of the phone they say that they cannot release the codes because of privacy policy.ha ha. anyway a third party company who specialize in unlock codes told me that they cannot get the codes because of the se server being down.but as i said earlier,i find it astonishing it being out for nearly 2 months.is there any way i can do it do you know please.thanks

http://www.cellunlocker.net/sony-ericsson-unlock.php Hi Steve, I was just reading today that the server is expected to be up in about a week, but you might want to send a private message to one of the SE moderators on this forum, such as Jeff, to get a more definitive answer.Also, have a look on this website to see whether the unlocking code for your phone is available to buy from them.Press *#06# on your keypad to get the phone's IMEI number.

Hi Steve,

To send a PM, go to: Your Stuff--select Private Messages--Compose message: send a message to Jeff-SEAnswers.

The IMEI number is the phone's serial number, which you can obtain either by pressing star-hash-zero-six-hash on your phone in stand-by, or you can find it behind the battery.

           i checked my imei on the cellunlocker,they found it fast and say its available.have you used these before and are they ok in your opinion.thanks steve

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=900020 I haven't used them, but it's one of the unlocking sites recommended in this thread, so they seem to be one of the better trusted sites to unlock your phone by.In any case, I suggest you pay by Paypal, in case they send you the wrong code and need a refund.Let me know what happens. hi chris,

            sent the cell unlocker and they came back with code not found,also i email jeff but got no reply.i think ime driving down a couldersack on all this mate its beginning to p me off a bit,a simple task made hard by big company's.it seems all these people want to do is take your money and run.
