searching bar on top of the screen with new update 4.4.4

Hello!

To start with, I think the 4.4.4 update was very cool! I like how the icons looks (despite that they look to much appleish for me..), I mean,  I can get used to the size. 

I also like the Ultra Stamina Mode, it can become useful if need be but not in our daily life...the Stamina Mode is enough! (but i thanx for the add) 

I like how the watch looks now! Everything seems to be working fast and fluent...but there's a little camera thing that I don't understand...The mode where you get to see your own face (using the front camera) and the the background because you also use the back camera...I tried it today but the circle in wich you face has to be, it's too small...no close pics allowed...it has to be like a "selfie-distance" to fit in it...too bad...

But then...my question was not about that...Since I updated the phone, a thin bar with a loop on it (I take it a searching bar) appears on the screen but I can't seem to make it work...I've tried to press it once, twice (like you do with the PC mouse) or even to press it long but nothing seems to happen, the loop changes its color from white to blue but nothing else...how am I suppoused to make it work? or what is its use? (Am I missing something?

I would appreciate any answer or clue!

P.D: As a suggestion...could you (Sony) make the main screen turn when you turn your phone too? It would be very useful...

The circle is to indicate that your Glove Mode is activated. To turn off, go to Settings > Display > uncheck Glove Mode.

I have exactly the same problem. I removed the search bar as I don't want or need it, now it has come back but it does nothing when I press on it. I do not want to have to set up my phone from scratch by clearing data on the home app.

This is a horrible cludge from Sony, why do they do these things, the permanent search bar is full of bugs, is there any way I can get this zombie off my phone
