SE Elm Contacts Sync

Hi

When I first bought my Elm I could connect it to my laptop (Windows XP) and through the Companion program I could syncronise my contacts between phone and the laptop. I've just done a software update on Companion and now I can't syncronise my contacts. Am I missing something, or has this option just been removed by upgrading the software?

http://www.fjsoft.at/en/downloads.php I don't know why this happened, but you could use My Phone Explorer instead, which gives you a lot more flexibility with regard to syncronising contacts and a lot more besides.

What most likely has happened is that the update of PC Companion got picked up by one of your security programs in the PC. Anti-virus programs, fire walls etc. These programs are known to block PC Companion. Have a look at these and see if you either can add PCCompanion.exe as an exception or if you can disable these programs while syncing.
